Salt-free water conditioner for scale prevention.
A salt-free conditioner helps keep hardness minerals from sticking to pipes, fixtures and your water heater. It uses no salt, no drain and no electricity. It does not soften water: a hardness test will read the same afterward.

Salt-Free Conditioner: quick answers
Is a salt-free conditioner a water softener?
No. It changes how hardness minerals behave so they’re less likely to form scale, but it doesn’t remove them.
You won’t get the slick feel of soft water, and spots can still appear when water evaporates on glass. See salt vs. salt-free.
Who is it for?
Homeowners who want to avoid salt, or homes with no practical drain location.
It’s a scale-prevention choice, not a soft-water choice.
Does it remove chlorine?
Not on its own. Add a carbon stage for chlorine taste and odor.
Ask us about pairing it with carbon filtration.

Frequently asked questions
Will a salt-free conditioner stop spots on my shower glass?
Not reliably. Spots form when water evaporates and leaves minerals behind, and a conditioner leaves those minerals in the water. A salt-based softener is the better fix for spots.
Does it need maintenance?
Very little. There’s no salt to add and no regeneration.
Salt-free or salt-based for Phoenix water?
If you want truly soft water, salt-based. If avoiding salt matters more and your main goal is scale protection, salt-free.
